Food tasted very good. Service good too. Location very central.

Very nice staff and good location, think that you pay more for it ... I had a salad, which could have been a side salad and the food from my friend arrived partly cold. At the end of the evening we went home with a significantly empty wallet for hardly real portions. It's a shame, actually, the shop was given a very positive rating.

Super delicious food, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. Wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The service and the ambience are just great. My favorite is the pirate skewer. The only downer is that card payments are not possible.

Great shop with even more great staff. Now in autumn you can sit comfortably on the covered terrace and watch who is strolling by with delicious cocktails.

Food was great and the staff really great. Here you feel really comfortable. You need something like that on vacation. Price - performance also fits.

What should I capitalize? Black Pearl is simply the best bar / pub / restaurant mix of them all. The staff is just meeeeega good! The drinks and food are simply unbeatable in terms of price / performance. The staff, up front Patrick, are world class. We come from the Ruhr area ourselves and love "free snout" and therefore feel in good hands at the Black Pearl. We stayed at the Black Pearl 6 evenings / days within 10 days and would definitely come more often. If I could give 10 stars I would do it without thinking twice! Thanks for everything and all the attention of your team !!

I rarely give 5 stars, but here it is more than appropriate. The service, the food, value for money and the ambience are so brilliant! I experienced such a great overall concept. The only thing that has proven difficult is to get a seat. A reservation at least 2 days in advance makes sense. Or you can do it like us, treat yourself to an excellent cocktail in the lounge chairs until something is free. Great ! Really big compliment to the team.

Very tasty food, nice friendly service. The restaurant looks very neat. Food and drinks came quickly. A big plus: dogs are also allowed in the restaurant.

Great service, delicious food and fair prices. The "Black Pearl" is truly a pearl on Borkum. I had the "Surf and Turf" and was / am very enthusiastic. I will definitely come back the next time I visit the island.

Great breakfast and great service. I also think it's great that everyone is kindly reminded of the Corona rules. Unfortunately, some still don't know how to do it.

I ate fresh "Italian style" mussels there yesterday, delicious. Excellent! Very friendly and attentive service staff. Always happy to be there again!

From breakfast to cocktail in the evening ... from the staff to the hygiene everything was great! Each table was disinfected by the waiters again and again when leaving ... despite all the stress we were always welcomed and treated very nicely! After several restaurants on Borkum didn't really convince us, we came across the Black Pearl = luckily! The furnishing style is modern and very chic, and it also fits in well with the theme of the restaurant. Reservations work here very quickly and easily. Breakfast and lunch are excellent here. Everything is served on beautiful dishes, very classy. After lunch / dinner you can linger here very well and have very tasty and well-served cocktails, whiskeys, rum, etc. The staff is awesome! Absolutely personable, warm and open. You just feel good and actually feel at home pretty quickly ❤️ Dogs are also always welcome, there are dog blankets, bowls with water & also one in the entrance that is filled with food. When we had to leave, we didn't find it sad to leave "Borkum", but rather that we can no longer be in the "Black Pearl". 6 days on the island = 10 visits to the Black Pearl. I think that says it all! We look forward to being there again next year! ?

If you are in Borkum, you should definitely eat here. Nice service, great food and great location. Only 2 minutes to the beach and in the middle of the city ...

Very good service. The pirate skewers are unique and have never been known to me in any restaurant. I can only recommend it. Very friendly staff and the owner is also very friendly!

Everthing was super but the musical was horrible whit all the (bad) covers

The service is nice, the walk-in customers unfortunately not much opportunity. Rather less good places. Why not 5 stars? There is only one reason the selection of the dishes was simply not enough for me. Admittedly, if you have been queuing for a long time to get a place, I expected more choice. What I got was a baked potato with crab and a salad tasted good. But despite everything, it was nothing out of the ordinary.

The food is just amazing. You may think of the design as controversial, but i find it very nice, given that we are on an island. Music is very nice and calm. The bar is well equipped. Lot of drinks to choose from. The staff are unbelievably friendly and funny. The overall rating is just more than 5 stars. If you are looking for a tasty meal or a drink or both, this is your place. P.S.: they have chairs and tables outside if you dont wanna sit indoors.
